What We Expect from our Students
A serious attitude to study and the will to work, making efficient use of private study time.
A positive contribution to school life, and to the Sixth Form in particular.
Consideration for, and cooperation with, staff and fellow students.
Punctuality in arriving to school, lessons, study periods, and in the submission of homework assignments.
Attendance to all lessons properly equipped, having completed the necessary reading and preparation.
Students should devote a considerable amount of time to work over and above that spent on assignments which are specifically set.
Entry Requirements
The school may apply discretionary requirements in certain circumstances.
1. Analyse the students
We require students to have gained at least six IGCSEs Grade C or above, including in English and Maths, and students must have good academic prospects based on performance in Year 10.
4. Work Hard
All students must prove willing to work hard and show a sense of responsibility towards the organisation of their own study time. Developing maturity is essential.
2. Find merits
Other qualifications will be judged on merit and entrance testing.
3. Qualifications
New students joining us with different educational backgrounds will be expected to have gained equivalent qualifications and be prepared to be assessed in the subjects they wish to study.

Each subject is given by a specialised teacher in small class groups. Students also have study periods for pre-reading and homework completion. A weekly 1.5h tutorial session will also take place with the class head teacher
Extra language classes available:
French – with the objective of sitting the official exam (DELF)
German – with the objective of sitting the official exam (GOETHE)
Chinese – with the objective of sitting the official exam (HSK)
English – with the objective of sitting the official exam (CAE or Proficiency)
MODEL UNITED NATIONS (MUN)
Debating in English and French in a simulation of UN discussions.
Tutoring
At the beginning of the first year, all students are assigned to a tutor group, led by a member of our Secondary academic staff. Students meet in their respective tutor groups every morning at 9:00 am for registration.
